Popover patterns
These are opt-in and additive. The v2.1.1 markup (details.dropdown,
data-tooltip) still works. Where a pattern is not supported the content falls
back to normal flow or a fixed position.
Dropdown menu
A button with popovertarget and a ul with popover. No script.
Tooltip
popover="hint" needs a few lines of script to show on hover and focus. The
older data-tooltip attribute needs none.

What changed from Pico CSS?
Plain CSS source, OKLCH colors, cascade layers and a small compiler.
Can I keep using the old classes?
Yes. The class and attribute surface of v2.1.1 is kept.
What about older browsers?
The floor is Chrome and Edge 111, Firefox 128 and Safari 16.4.

A dialog opened with showModal() animates in and out with no extra classes.
